Tickets go on sale on Thursday 4th April for the tenth season of outdoor theatre at Lytham Hall.
Chapterhouse Theatre Company will launch the season of five plays on Sunday 16 June at 6.00 pm., the first weekend of their four-month summer tour.
The company will present Richard Main’s production of Elizabeth Gaskell most famous novel Cranford, adapted for the stage by the award-winning Laura Turner.
Fylde coast fans will then welcome the return of Illyria, after three acclaimed shows last summer, as artistic director Oliver Gray presents Shakespeare’s The Tempest at 6.00 pm on Sunday 7 July.
Oliver Gray is looking forward to being part of the Lytham Hall bill once again.

Illyria will be back on Saturday 17 August at 7.30 pm, as they stage their own version of Mary Shelley’s spinechiller Frankenstein, complete with monster and music.
On Saturday 24 August at 6.00 pm August Lancashire comedian Steve Royle will stage the first-ever open-air performance of Dan Leno, a Royal Jester which tells of the life and death of Victorian music hall superstar Dan Leno. The play, written and produced by Blackpool ‘s author David Slattery-Christy, premiered at last summer’s Lytham Festival.
For their 2019 family show on Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon 25 August at 4.00 pm Illyria are expecting a capacity audience again for the season’s finale Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.
