Hours: FULL TIME

Salary: TBC

Due to the increasing growth and popularity of this special heritage asset, a vacancy for a chef has become available. The successful applicant will work alongside our head chef, other catering operatives, café staff, function staff, and KP.

Duties will be mostly preparation of our famous Afternoon Teas in the Georgian Hall, but certain shifts will also be in our busy main café kitchen.

The applicant must be totally reliable, completely committed and flexible, with a good attitude to work so as we can provide excellent continuity and service. These are the basic qualities our charitable trust expects.

Mostly, the position will operate between the hours of 9.30am-5pm, 5 days a week on a rota, but occasionally evening hours are required. The operation opens 7 days per week, so weekends will also be a regular part of the rota.

Lytham Hall is a Grade 1 listed building along with a 78 acre historic parkland, which opens all year round. It is run and operated by a Building Conservation Trust (Charity No.508300) whose aims and objectives are to ensure this heritage asset (and others) are available for people to enjoy not only today, but for future generations as well.

Would you like to help lead one of the largest heritage charities in the UK as we approach our 50 year anniversary? We are currently working on a new strategy, branding, websites and projects and need your support to save even more heritage across the region and beyond!

 

Thanks to support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund and lottery players with our Renewed Resilience project, we have completed a Board diversity review and skills audit and we have several Trustee roles available.

 

We are genuinely open to all applicants but in particular are looking for the following candidates:

·      Additional expertise and experience in archaeology, architecture and historic buildings;

·      A qualified accountant, ideally with charity experience;

·      Familiarity with and connections in Cheshire;

·      Increased diversity in all aspects.
