Arm Knitting Workshop

Friday 31st Janauary 2025 - 12pm

Get creative, have fun and learn a new skill by coming along to one of my popular chunky wool blanket arm knitting workshops. 

You will knit your very own chunky knit blanket from 2kg of 100% pure unspun merino wool to take home - perfect as a statement piece on your sofa, chair or bed. The final blanket will be approximately 30” x 50” in size.

 

No knitting experience or needles necessary! I will teach you step-by-step how to arm knit your own blanket.

 

Please book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment - there are limited places with only 8 people in each class.

Snowdrop Season

Weekends in February 2025

Come and enjoy our famous snowdrops! Enjoy a  trail through the parkland and marvel at the vast displays. The cafe and al fresco areas will be open for you to warm up with a hot drink, a light bite or a hearty meal and don't forget to take a souvenir home from the Lytham Hall shop, (located off the tearoom lawn), Antiques Hub or Garden Centre.​

 

​Greg will also be selling snowdrops at his Garden Hub and

will be donating £1 from the sale of each snowdrop plant to the Friends of Lytham Hall.

Admission: At weekends a suggested minimum fundraising donation of £1 per person will provide you with a Snowdrop map and factsheet—plus a 10% Off voucher for Hall Tours.

His Majesty King Henry V111 demands your presence on his visit to Lytham Hall. Guests will be invited to partake in a mead and red wine reception inside the sumptuous interior of the Hall itself at 4pm, before making their way to the Upper West Wing for a Tudor Banquet. His Majesty will perform a one man show about his life before guests are allowed to tuck into to their feast. After an interval his Majesty will return for a Q & A session on England's most colourful monarch.

Friday 21st & Saturday 22nd March 2025 - 10am till 4.30pm 

Join us at 10am in the Upper West Wing to enjoy a Moorcroft talk with a tea or coffee and biscuits.

See a wide range of Moorcroft designs, trials and lamps. A Moorcroft designer will be showcasing how they create a design together with giving tubelining and painting demonstrations.

Easter Family Fun Day

The Friends of Lytham Hall will be running their annual Family Fun Day on Easter Sunday.

The Easter Bunny has hidden her eggs in the woods so come and help her find them. There are lots of creatures hiding in the woods so watch out for the Fox!!!!

Collect some eggs and the Easter Bunny will give you a chocolate surprise!

Come and enjoy Cake decorating, Bouncy Castle, Kids Tombola, Bookstall, Easter Crafts and fun Games

You can visit the real live bunnies in the animal hub. The café is full of treats and the Garden and Antique centres are all open.

Classic & Performance Motor Show

Sunday 18th May 2025 - 10am - 4pm

We bring the best of classic and performance cars, bikes and commercials to Lytham Hall, for a spring bonanza.

Make the most of the beautiful spring with a combination of horsepower and history in front of this classic Georgian Mansion.

The show takes place on the sweeping lawns filling the 78-acre park with a huge display of classic cars, light commercials, classic 4×4’s, ex-military and motorcycles.  Private classic cars are warmly invited along.

Chat to fellow enthusiasts at an extensive range of club stands.  Browse the array of trade stands for that vital part or memorabilia, or hunt for bargains in the ever-popular auto jumble.

A Fantastic Mega Picnic Concert! We welcome the amazing Master Of The Scene as the legendary 70's group ABBA. The Duke’s Theatre Company will open the 16th season of outdoor  theatre at Lytham Hall with their production of one of Shakespeare’s most gripping tragedies.

The Brighton-based company will be making their debut at Lytham Hall as part of a nationwide tour to some of the UK’s most prestigious stately homes.
