Enjoy an afternoon with legendary presenter and comedian Stu Francis as he is interviewed by our very own Paul Lomax.

Mad Ruggers Workshop

Saturday 22nd November 2025 - 9.30am - 12.30pm

Join Alison and Lorraine for this morning workshop and learn how to create your own Rag Rug. Having learned how to use the tools including a latch hook and gauge, you will then start to create your own rug using pure wool blanket yarn. This is a waste product created by the weaving industry meaning less wool waste going to landfill.

 

This course costs £50 and includes: Your own latch hook 1 ball of blanket yarn in colour of your choice hessian mat 100x 60cm You will leave with the knowledge and skill to finish your rug at home. There will be additional supplies available to purchase on the day.

 

Your tutors, Alison and Lorraine, are experienced teachers and confess to being ‘rag rug addicts’. So watch out – you may become addicted too!

Painting & Prosecco Party

So what’s it all about?

Kitty Bouman has hired a room at Lytham Hall where you can spend 2hrs learning the art of loose botanical watercolours, whilst enjoying a chilled mini bottle of Prosecco. You will learn simple strokes and techniques to set you off on your way and at the end you will take your pad, brushes and watercolours home with you to practice!

No previous experience necessary and even if you think 'I can't do that!' I promise you, that by the end of the session you will KNOW that you CAN! Dive into the mesmerizing world of loose botanical watercolours, capturing the essence of nature's beauty.

Lytham Antique Fair

Sunday 30th November - 10am

Husband & wife team Paul & Annette Shinkfield run a series of Antique Fairs in the North West under the banner of Tip Top Antiques. Between us we have more than 40 years combined experience in the world of antiques. We are delighted to have the opportunity to open a new fair in the beautiful & historic setting of Lytham Hall. Our stallholders will be showcasing a wide range of high quality antiques including silver, jewellery, militaria, books, coins, ceramics, glass, small furniture and Chinese & Japanese antiques.

Admission is just £1 with accompanied children free of charge. If you are looking to sell any antique items, please feel free to bring them (or photos) along as our stallholders may well be interested in purchasing them from you.

This year the Georgian Hall will be themed with some of The Most Wonderful Rhymes of all time. Don’t miss seeing the Hall dressed like never before. 

Daytime opening:- 11.30am till 4pm (last entry 3pm)

Booking for daytime visits not required - please just pay at the door.

 

Evening opening:- 5pm till 8pm (last entry 7pm)

Please note the Georgian Hall is CLOSED on Mondays, we will also be closed on the 24th, 25th, 26th & 31st December. Evening CLOSED on Saturday 6th Dec.

Come along and enjoy an afternoon of live Scottish entertainment with musician and singer Tom Collins.

 

The afternoon includes a traditional lunch of Haggis, neeps and tatties. Clear away those winter blues with a few wee drams and a good old singalong!

Barbara gave us a fascinating talk about the painting"Excelsior"which is displayed in Lytham Hall and returns to tell us more about its artist, Richard Ansdell.

BENIDORM NIGHT

Saturday 28th February 2026 

For one night only - Lytham Hall's Upper West Wing becomes Benidorm's famous "Neptune's Bar". There will be a host of entertainment from Mark Jay, Sherrie Hewson ( Joyce Temple-Savage) and guests of stage and screen. Look out for a few surprises! There will be a welcome glass of sangria, lots of Spanish themed tapas and a Mediterranean dessert.

Prepare yourself for some Winter sunshine here in Lytham - Dare you wear your shorts?

Pinocchio

This year’s family show from Illyria will be 100 minutes, including an interval, and spaces will be reserved for children to sit at the front close to the stage.

 

Pinocchio, a mischievous wooden puppet, runs away in search of fun and adventure, but faces many temptations and trials along the way in his quest to become a real boy.
