Forest bathing is a therapeutic practice where you are invited to mindfully explore the forest with all of your senses.

It is immersive, sensory and deeply restorative, with most guests report a sense of deep relaxation, and a feeling of being more connected to themselves and the world around them.

Through a series of mindful invitations and a gentle exploration of the forest you will find stillness in the present moment, reawaken your senses and perhaps notice a sense of joy and wonder as you experience the healing power of nature!

Mellor & Rose Calligraphy workshop

Wednesday 25th March 2026 - 11am - 1.30pm

Join Mellor & Rose from Modern Calligraphy Workshop on Wednesday March 25th from 11am – 1:30pm!

Modern Calligraphy is fun to learn and relaxing to practice.  

Guided by expert tutors; Lucy Mellor and Polly Mellor, you will begin by covering the fundamentals of how to hold the dip pen, learning the pressures and rhythms that give calligraphy its characteristic contrasting strokes before moving onto learning the upper and lower alphabet, how to link letters, first words and phrases. You will learn how to draw decorative illustrations and flourishes to complement your calligraphy lettering on stationery pieces. The second half of the workshop covers how to lay out greeting cards, letter up and design a piece of wall art along with luxury stationery items.

Friends of Lytham Hall Easter Family Fun Day

The Friends of Lytham Hall will be running their annual Family Fun Day on Easter Sunday at 11am to 1pm or 1pm to 3pm.

 

The Easter Bunny has hidden her eggs in the woods so come and help her find them. There are lots of creatures hiding in the woods so watch out for the Fox!!

Collect some eggs and the Easter Bunny will give you an Easter Treat!

Come and enjoy Cake decorating, Bouncy Castle, Kids Tombola, Bookstall, Easter Crafts and fun games!

Start the season in style at the Lancashire Coast Classic & Performance Motor Show, set in our stunning grounds this popular spring event attracts enthusiasts from across the North West and beyond.

Across 78 acres of parkland, enjoy an incredible display of classic cars, light commercials, vintage 4x4s, ex-military vehicles, motorcycles, and performance, modified, supercars & hypercars. Car clubs are warmly invited to take part and showcase their vehicles.

 

Browse specialist trade stands and the popular autojumble for rare parts and memorabilia, and make a full day of it with gardens, lakeside walks, cafe, visit the garden center and enjoy a look around the Georgian house.

We welcome the UK's most dynamic tribute -  Supersonic Queen. Get ready for a fun, upbeat show with a live band, exceptional vocalists and musicians and authentic costumes.

During the Mad Ruggers workshop you will learn how to create your own unique Rag Rug. Having learned how to use the tools including a latch hook and cutting gauge, you will then start to create your own rug from 100% pure wool blanket yarn.

Hessian mat 100cm x 60cm.
You will leave with the knowledge and skill to finish your rug at home.

The Lytham Antique Fair returns to the historic surroundings of Lytham Hall in 2026, showcasing an impressive selection of quality antiques. Browse a diverse array of silver, jewellery, militaria, books, coins, ceramics, glass, small furniture, and Chinese and Japanese pieces.

 

Hosted by husband-and-wife team Paul and Annette Shinkfield, who bring over 40 years of combined experience in the antiques world, this fair promises an enjoyable day in a beautiful heritage setting.

If you have antiques you’re considering selling, feel free to bring the items—or photographs of them—as many stallholders may be interested in buying.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

Illyria return, with a different cast,  with one of Gilbert and Sullivan’s most popular comic operas, The Pirates of Penzance. Top quality singing is always placed at the heart of Oliver Gray’s innovative productions. This is G &S for the 21st century.

Lytham Community Choir will entertain royally prior to the show.

Pinocchio

This year’s family show from Illyria will be 100 minutes, including an interval, and spaces will be reserved for children to sit at the front close to the stage.

 

Pinocchio, a mischievous wooden puppet, runs away in search of fun and adventure, but faces many temptations and trials along the way in his quest to become a real boy.

Nevermore VOL 2

Nevermore is coming back in 2026 after a successful first show in 2025!

Be prepared to join the CVLT once again with Nevermore Vol 2! Nevermore Vol 2 follows on from the Automotive Exhibition last season, aiming to bring together some of the UK’s best examples of modified, classic and stand out cars in one breath taking location.

Lytham Proms Weekend

Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August 2026

Welcome to our 2 day mega picnic festival event that all the family can enjoy!

 

Starting on Saturday 29th August, book your tickets for our 80's Vs 90's afternoon! Kicking off the event is the One and Only himself, multi million selling artist- Chesney Hawkes. Following Chesney is the fabulous platinum selling Britpop rock band - Dodgy with 9 Top 40 singles. Finally, with over 40 years of chart-topping success - we have the Brit Award winner and original punk pop princess herself - Toyah!

 

All the above hit recording stars will be supported by an array of further artists, while the audience settles in for the afternoon with their picnics, strawberries, and champagne. The show will finish at 7:30 pm, allowing everyone to leave the parkland during daylight.

 

Sunday 30th August, with over 10 million albums sold, we have the Welsh legend himself Aled Jones! Royal Albert Hall favourite, Aled is sure to wow the crowd with his decades of singing expertise and charisma. Supporting Aled will be rising Lancashire pop country star Amy Jo, and the dynamic postmodern harmonies of The Bluebirds.

Superb soprano Danielle Louise Thomas will finish the show with an amazing Proms finale set. Danielle is known as the Voice of Liverpool and is in high demand, having performed at Royal occasions and on the BBC.

Our fabulous Sunday performers will also be supported by a fantastic line up of singers and musicians starting at 3pm until 7.30pm.

 

Both events will once again be hosted by popular BBC Radio Lancashire presenter Graham Liver whose wit and charm is always a crowd pleaser.

Mad Ruggers Workshop

Sunday 4th October 2026 - 9.30am - 4pm

During the Mad Ruggers workshop you will learn how to create your own unique Rag Rug. Having learned how to use the tools including a latch hook and cutting gauge, you will then start to create your own rug from 100% pure wool blanket yarn.

 

This course includes:
Your own latch hook
1 x 250g ball of blanket yarn
Hessian mat 100cm x 60cm.
You will leave with the knowledge and skill to finish your rug at home. 

9:30am - 12:30pm morning session or 13:00 - 16:00 afternoon session
£50 inc all materials as listed above
