Snowdrop season at Lytham Hall

In February we welcome the return of millions of snowdrops to the parkland of Lytham hall. From Saturday 4 February to Sunday 26 February our snowdrop season will be in full swing.

Visit us for a wander among the snowdrops, highlighted by frames for a picture-opportunity. For children there is a “find the fairy” trail along the way, which is included in the entry price. Entry to the parkland these weekends is £3 per adult and free for children on Saturdays and Sundays.

What can you expect when you visit? A picturesque trail through the grounds, highlighted on your trail map, a fairy trail for the children, a Friends of Lytham Hall bric-a-brac and snowdrop shop in the courtyard, a warm tea room to have lunch or a warm drink.

On Sundays in February the Hall is open for guided tours at 12pm and 2pm – entry is £6 for adults and free for accompanying children. We also have a few fantastic volunteers who will give a short outside tour, at 1pm from outside the tea room.

Grounds are open from 10.00am until 4.30pm. Please be advised these weekends tend to be car free, with parking provided on Ballam Road by our wonderful neighbours at Ribble House, except for blue badge holders.

The income from our snowdrop fundraising season is instrumental for the survival of Lytham Hall, which relies on visitor spending and volunteer help as there is no regular external funding.

For the latest state of play of snowdrops, we will endeavour to put a photo up on our Facebook page every Friday, to indicate the snowdrop display. We hope to welcome you at Lytham Hall and thank you for your continuous support.
