Artists from the Fylde will be taking part in the spectacular Winter Art Fair at Lytham Hall on November 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th. In just a few weeks artists handpicked from dozens who applied will be showing a dazzling array of affordable art and craft in the largest Winter Art Fair at Lytham Hall so far.

The fair, which has free entry, will take place in Lytham Hall’s west wing, courtyard and the Green with plenty of surprises in store for all ages.

Across both weekends there will be a wide range of art, craft and design stalls with perfect Christmas gifts. There will also be fun have a go craft activities for all the family. On the afternoons of 26th and 27th November Father Christmas will be in his grotto at the fair.

Included in the Winter Art Fair are many local artists and makers such as Betsy & Els from Lytham with bespoke and personalized laser-cut gifts, C & E Designs upcycled paper crafts from Freckleton, Karen Dodgson ceramics from Thornton, Catherine Gibson fine artist from Lytham, Katie Hampson Sketchbuk animal paintings from Fleetwood, Beads Galore from Out Rawcliffe with their handmade glass lampwork beads, Patrick Fox from Thornton-Cleveleys with his hand stitched books and Sarah Galasko from Lytham who will be sharing her love of the seaside through her wonderful photographs of the Lancashire coast.

Each weekend there will be a different selection of artists so great things to see and buy over all four days. Event organisers Hopeful and Glorious are looking forward to returning to Lytham Hall. “This is our 3rd and largest Winter Fair by the sea! It’s a charming setting and we like working with the Heritage trust. This is the perfect event to meet artists, see beautiful, original art and craft and buy a special item to treasure forever. We work with amazing artists, jewellers, ceramicists, printmakers, illustrators, designers and makers to bring together the best of British art and craft.” explains Gordon Chapman from Hopeful and Glorious.

The range of artworks will ensure that within the Fair there will be lots to see and something to appeal to everyone. Enjoy a lovingly crafted day out in the delightful location of Lytham Hall. There is a small parking charge for the day payable to Lytham Hall but this allows visitors to come and enjoy the parkland and bookshop too and Hall tours are available on both days.

“We are delighted with the seasonal return of Hopeful and Glorious to Lytham Hall,” says Marianne Blaauboer, activity plan officer. “Over the past years the fair has been widely recognized for delivering high quality and has grown in popularity with our visitors. We are looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces.”
