Dog Friendly

Parkland Opening Times 10:00 am till 4:00 pm.

Visiting with your dogLytham Hall has always been a place where dogs can enjoy themselves. Dogs lived alongside the Clifton family through the generations and we continue that tradition of welcoming responsible dog owners. Lytham Hall has become increasingly popular with dogs and their humans and the numbers visiting with dogs has risen year on year.

This is our policy to help ensure all our visitors are able to enjoy their visit:-

Dogs MUST be on a lead around and in the Tea Room, Garden Hub, Tea Room lawn and Courtyard areas at all times and without exception.

Well behaved dogs are welcome inside the Tea Room and the courtyard. There are also picnic tables outside the Tea Room.

Water bowls for dogs are located around the Tea Room and courtyard areas.

No dogs are allowed at any time in the Kitchen Garden, Animal Hub or by the Chicken Coop.

Well behaved dogs can be off-lead on the south, east and north lawns (to the front and sides of the Hall) and through the woodland walks.

There are designated conservation areas which are off limits to humans and dogs which are clearly marked. Please respect these and do not enter.

Owners are expected to be responsible for their dogs and be careful that they do not to disturb wildlife habitats and the local flora. Please therefore keep your dog close and under control when walking through the grounds.

Lytham Hall is above all family friendly and dog owners must be particularly in full control of their pets when around small children, other dogs and their owners. Please be respectful of the fact that not everyone loves dogs.

Please dispose of your dog poo responsibly. There are numerous waste bins located around the grounds and in the car parking areas, so please always bag it and bin it.

Dogs are not allowed inside the historic house, unless they are assistance dogs.

WE LOVE TO WELCOME OUR  FOUR-LEGGED FURRY FRIENDS INTO THE TEA ROOM but we ask that, out of respect for our other customers,  the following conditions are observed:

  • WE strongly INSIST that DOGS are kept on lead and DO NOT feed from the table

  • All four paws stay on the floor at all times.

  • Do not feed your dogs using Lytham Hall crockery and

        cutlery intended for humans only

  • Vocal doggies and their owners are best seated in the

        garden or the courtyard.

Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy your visit.
