2024 Historic Heroes Award
We are thrilled that we came runners-up in the 2024 Heritage Heroes Award!
These prestigious awards - which have been running for a considerable number of years - celebrate the dedication, skill, and passion of volunteers who work tirelessly to safeguard the nation’s history and we are honoured to have the hard work of our own
370+ volunteers recognised by them.
In 2023, our volunteers provided over 27,000 hours of unpaid time to ensure the preservation and restoration of our Grade 1 listed building and its historic parkland.
The CEO of the Heritage Trust for the North West, Michael Guy, and Lytham Hall's own managers, Peter Anthony and Paul Lomax, are elated to have our volunteers recognised:
"We’re absolutely thrilled to receive this award. It’s a testament to the incredible dedication and
heart of our volunteers."
"This recognition belongs entirely to our amazing volunteers who show up, time and time again."
"To be recognised in this way is truly an honour. We’re so proud of our volunteers who make what we do here every day possible. We can't thank them enough."
"As always, we would like to extend an enormous thank you to all of our volunteers, and to our volunteer coordinator, Pamela Gregory."
