Snowdrop season at Lytham Hall

In February we welcome the return of millions of snowdrops to the parkland of Lytham hall. From Saturday 4 February to Sunday 26 February our snowdrop season will be in full swing. Visit us for a wander among the snowdrops, highlighted by frames for a picture-opportunity. For children there is a “find the fairy” trail along the way, which is included in the entry price. Entry to the parkland these weekends is £3 per adult and free for children on Saturdays and Sundays. What can you expect when you visit? Lytham's Open Air Theatre leads the way

Lytham Hall looks to lead the country again in the summer of 2017 with a popular programme of four open air plays. Chapterhouse Theatre Company will launch the 2017 season and their own summer tour at Lytham Hall, Lancashire’s best supported venue, on Sunday 11 June at 6.00 pm. The company will present Richard Main’s production of Charles Dickens’ classic novel, Great Expectations, adapted for the stage by Laura Turner. Lytham Hall is bidding to bag a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative, yet again. Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch the monthly funding scheme, which sees grants of £5,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from the 5p bag levy – being awarded to local outdoor community projects. Three groups in every Tesco region have been shortlisted to receive the cash award and this month shoppers are being invited to head along to Tesco stores to vote for who they think should take away the top grant.
