I Spy in Hall and Parkland

With the summer holidays having started in earnest, we’ve prepared a little I Spy booklet for children in the parkland and in the house. Some of the images can be tricky to find, so it is excellent for really sharp-eyed children. Pick up a copy from the tea room if you’re planning to be outside, or get one from the North Entrance if you’re visiting the Hall. You are invited to put your scores on the leader board in the lobby of the tea room when you’re finished, to show how eagle-eyed you are. In August, Lytham Hall is the stunning location for a fabulous classic car show that’s not to be missed. If the revving engine of a vintage vehicle sets your heart racing and the glint of a beautifully waxed bonnet catches your eye, then Lytham Hall is the place to be, as this glorious parade of gorgeous classic cars only visits the Lancashire venue once a year. Taking place on the 3rd August, this fantastic event gives visitors the chance to get up close to over 300 classic cars and bikes, as well as the opportunity to speak to exhibitors about their passion. On Sunday 27 July the Flower Power Fair is back at Lytham Hall by popular demand. This event offers an excellent opportunity to purchase locally sourced British plants from specialist nurseries and growers. Peter Foley, former owner of Holden Clough Nursery will also be holding informal Gardener's Question Time sessions so bring along any problem plants or ask Peter how to get the best out of your plants, gardens, lawns or compost heap!
